The first automation win was turning scattered site details into structured data. I built inventory routines that gathered consistent metadata—core/PHP versions, plugin and theme status, SSL and backup signals, storage usage, and known error indicators—so decision-making could be data-driven. The technical focus wasn’t “collect everything,” but “collect what enables action”: inputs that support risk scoring, targeted rollouts, and quick identification of outliers, without manually opening hundreds of WordPress dashboards.
